Locals like to visit this spot in the summer and cool off in the water. Last year at this time we had a semi family reunion and got together with relatives who live in Whangarei. It was a very hot, very dry fun day. This image is of the surf beach which has very high waves, people like to drop their surf cast fishing lines from these rocks and surf boards are a common sight too.<br /><br />While I'm away I'll still put a photo up here each day so enjoy it until I'm back.
